P&O SS HIMALAYA RARE PHOTOS 3-3-2012 I worked on the Himalaya 70-72 as the ships projectionist and I had a ball it was a great life and I met many great people including my wife of today. Most of these pictures were taken by the ships photographers, some by me and some available on the net. I only realised today that it was only available in 6 small countries due to those greedy bastards at EMI putting a block on the video because I had used some old music tracks sorry about that I had to use some free music from Youtube to get it back online. If you want a copy of the original let me know.

Ken Hom and Ching-He Huang cook their way across China in a visually rich culinary journey against the backdrop of ancient and modern Asia. Beyond a culinary odyssey, this will be an emotional homecoming, a cultural adventure, and an anthropological and historical road trip. Ken and Ching travel over 5,000 miles across this vast sub-continent, taking in both the ancient and the modern. Over four episodes they explore contrasting destinations along China's most significant trade routes. Beginning in the vibrant capital of Beijing, they explore the city that China has presented to the west and the rural villages outside of Beijing. After travelling through China's spicy Sichuan heartland, they explore the influence of minority cultures in Yunnan and the mystical northern city of Kashgar. And finally, in an emotional climax, Ken and Ching return to their ancestral homes to reveal the secrets of a Southern China we rarely see Ken and Ching leave the country's megacities and venture across China's vast western frontier to encounter a nation few know. From the tropical jungles of Yunnan to the deeply divided Muslim city of Kashgar, their journey exposes them to the culture and cuisines of the country's ethnic minority groups, who make up almost 10 percent of the population.

This village is fully functional with fields for growing rice and facilities for raising livestock and chickens. It is one of aproximately 1800 Diaolou tall towers still standing out of approximately 3000 built.

Goteng's Taiwan Trip part 2! 대만 여행 그 두 번째 이야기 Click CC button for the English subtitle! TAIWAN STYLE! The second day of my Taiwan trip! We went to Tamsui which was well known as the shooting place of Taiwanese movie 'Secret(2007)'. And we decided to ride bicycles in Bali cause one of our friend told us it has really beautiful sceneries. Although it was quite hot and sticky, we spent really good time there and we came back to go to Hot Spring in Beitou. Overall, It was super fun! I still have tons of video clips waiting to be edited, and it's very fun when I'm editing them though it takes lots of time and work! So please stay tuned, See you guys in the next video. Bye :) Facebook : http://facebook.com/gotengkr Instagram : http://instagram.com/goteng

Video Notes below -How much time do you have? 1 week, a few months, a few yrs? -Pick a place! Making a note of a few places on your mind narrows down the search. -How can I get there? Plane, road trip, boat/ cruise, horseback? haha -What are the Visa Requirements? Can you just show up? What documents are needed for travelers/ people seeking a job? If you arrive as a tourist, can you change your visa to a working visa while there or should you do it in your home country/ out of the country? How much does the visa cost? -What are the job requirements for the job type that I'm interested in? Do I need a degree/ certificate? What is the pay range?Should you search for a job before you go there or is it better/easier to get a job online before you go? Is there a demand/availability for this type of work? Is there a demand for bilinguals? -What is life like in that country? Cost of living: housing, food & fun? What types of adventures can you go on there for fun and leisure? What is the community atmosphere like? What is the food like? Weather? Dress?
