A video of my recent visit to the southern part of Brittany hosted by Siblu Holidays who provided a luxury mobile home at their excellent campsite, Domaine de Kerlann. Having taken the Brittany Ferries crossing from Portsmouth to Caen, we drove the 350 km or so via Rennes, Lorient and Quimperle to the beautiful small town of Pont-Aven, also known as "The City of Painters" due its population of artists and that Paul Gauguin lived here. It's a very picturesque small town and only two miles or so from the camp site. Also close by is the town of Concarneau, the third largest fishing port in France, with its medieval fortress, the beautiful beaches at Port Manec'h and Trevignon, and other similarly impressive headlands, beaches and coastlines.

You know your center situation is screwed up when you have to start a newly-signed Euro who hasn't played in the NBA for a few years. Granted, this Euro dude was doing pretty good with his Euro team. But still. You don't want Alexis Ajinca to be your best option at the pivot. In fairness to Alexis, he actually did rather well tonight. He's kind of a foul and turnover machine, but he limited those to two each in 30 minutes of action. He also totally posterized Roy Hibbert. One thing this guy can do is jump out of the arena. Combine those things and some pure-looking midrange jumpers and you might have a decent player. No longer will I confuse him and Solomon Alabi; He is a distinct human in my mind now, perhaps the highest honor available for an NBA player. All clips property of the NBA. Amiens is the capital of the Somme region, and I have to say a surprisingly beautiful place. Its completely immaculate. Amiens was bombarded in the first World War. The Battle of Amiens was the opening phase of the Hundred Days Offensive in World War I. This offensive led to the armistice which ended the war. At the centre of the city is the majestic Cathedral. Amiens Cathedral (a World Heritage Site) is the tallest of the large 'classic' Gothic churches of the 13th century and is the largest in France of its kind. After a fire destroyed the former cathedral, the new nave was begun in 1220 - and finished in 1247. Amiens Cathedral is notable for the coherence of its plan, the beauty of its three-tier interior elevation, the particularly fine display of sculptures on the principal façade and in the south transept, and the labyrinth, and other inlays of its floor. It is described as the "Parthenon of Gothic architecture", and by John Ruskin as "Gothic, clear of Roman tradition and of Arabian taint, Gothic pure, authoritative, unsurpassable, and unaccusable." General Foch was buried here. Ave verum corpus is a short Eucharistic hymn that has been set to music by various composers, in this case, Mozart. It dates from the 14th century, and Im sure it was recited time and time again in this important cathedral. During the Middle Ages it was sung at the elevation of the host during the consecration. It was also used frequently during Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. The hymn's title means "Hail, true body", and is based on a poem deriving from a 14th-century manuscript. The poem is a meditation on theCatholic belief in Jesus's Real Presence in the sacrament of the Eucharist, and ties it to Catholic ideas on the redemptive meaning of suffering in the life of all believers.

My three friends and I spent three amazing weeks traveling around Europe.Our trip gave us a lot of great memories and I wish that everyone experienced a trip like this. We found Interrailing very cheap compared to how much we got to experience in just three weeks and we were amazed that it was not the attractions that created memories, but all the trips in trains and all the situations that arose in the cities, among people and among each other, which really got stuck in our heads. On our trip we saw: Denmark, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and the Czech Republic in cities: Berlin, Prague, Innsbruck, Rimini, Pula, Munich, Paris and Amsterdam. Thanks for a great train journey.

Mike Cotty and Cyclefilm have teamed up once again to guide you through the 2014 Etape from the picturesque start town of Pau, once described by a French poet as having 'the world's most beautiful view of the Earth' no less, all the way to Hautacam ski station. Join Mike as he shares his advice on preparing yourself and your bike for a long day in the saddle before giving a detailed insight into what can be expected out on the road come July 20th. 148km in total with over 3,000 metres of vertical elevation can never be overlooked, especially when both mountains have a very different character - the Tourmalet is longer at 17.1km and with a more consistent gradient whilst Hautacam starts with a bark and keeps on biting all the way to the top with it's ever changing pitches (up to 13%) across 13.6km. The Xswipe Tricking Eurotrip 2012 aftermovie! This summer I had the great opportunity to travel with a bus filled up with great people around europe for almost 3 weeks. Within a couple of days I got my ticket to Paris, France booked and flew down there alone. Terrifying! Public transportation is NOT my thing. Well, I got into the airport, got my bag and waited around an hour for Malcolm Wope to pick me up. Within a few minutes the jokes we're being thrown around and I could feel that it was going to be a great trip. Within a few days we'd gathered everyone around Ash' apartment, had a few sessions and ate alot of french food, followed by the great adventure portrayed in this film. Everything was filmed on mainly 2 Canon 550Ds with a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, Samyang 35mm f/1.4 and a Canon 70-200mm f/4. We also used a 5DMK2 on the first day. A huge thanks to Ash for organizing all of the tour! It was truly a great adventure :) Also thanks to Daniel for helping me out on the last week with his own camera and to Moni and Axel for sending footage online. Troublesome! This was one of the best experiences of my life and i am so glad you all wanted me to share it with you.
