Saludos! Filmado y editado por:Sergio Larranaga

Today Ruben Alonso visits The Old Melbourne Gaol, a museum and former prison located Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It consists of a bluestone building and courtyard, and is located next to the old City Police Watch House and City Courts buildings. It was first constructed starting in 1839, and during its operation as a prison between 1842 and 1929, it held and executed some of Australia's most notorious criminals, including bushranger Ned Kelly and serial killer Frederick Bailey Deeming. A V/line V/locity passenger railcar stops at Little River station late at night to let one passenger alight. The train then resumes its journey towards Geelong. A few minutes later a similar scene is played out when a 6 carriage Vlocity heading towards Melbourne also makes a stop for a solitary passenger. Filming these trains at night can be difficult, especially when all headlights are illuminated. The V/Locity (also known as the Vlocity or "Vlocity 160") is a high speed diesel multiple unit (DMU) train manufactured by Bombardier Transportation and is used by V/Line on its broad gauge regional rail network in Victoria, Australia. The VLocity is an evolution of the Xplorer & Endeavour railcars used by Countrylink and Cityrail in NSW. A model of this train in HO scale will soon be available from Southern Rail Models. Details on their website http://www.southernrailmodels.com.au/ . PoathTV - Australian Trains, Railways & Railroads

Australian Railroad Group (ARG) locomotive AC4308 is seen departing the Dynon freight yards (Melbourne) during its delivery run from Melbourne to Adelaide on 24/9/2009. The locomotive was hauled as part of the loading of service MA6 and when it arrived in Adelaide would be added to another train for the final leg of its journey to Perth (Western Australia). AC4308 was "dead attached" (not operating) behind the trains powered locomotives which were the colourful combination of CLP11 (QRN Yellow/black), CLF4 (ARG Orange) & LDP003 (EDI Blue). The ARG "AC4300" class locomotives are based on the C44aci heavy duty diesel electric locomotive design which delivers over 4300hp for tractive effort purposes. Similar locomotives are also operated by Pacific National (92 class), QRNational (6000 class), and Xstrata Coal (XRN class). . PoathTV - Australian Trains, Railways & Railroads

Lets spend two hours trackside on the Melbourne to Geelong train line in the late afternoon and watch the sunset as a variety of V/line passenger trains and private operator freight trains roll by a country road level crossing. Starting at 5:30pm and finishing at 7:40pm on 1 September 2011 we will see the following trains: (Note UP = towards Melbourne, DOWN = from Melbourne. All V/line services are operating on the broad gauge tracks) 0:00 V/line N class with 5 carriages (up) 0:22 V/line N class with 4 carriages (down) 0:39 V/line V/locity 3 carriages (down) 0:49 V/line V/locity 6 carriages (down) 1:03 V/line N class with 4 carriages (up) 1:24 V/line V/locity 7 carriages (down) 1:42 V/line V/locity 7 carriages (up) 1:58 V/line V/locity 6 carriages (down) 2:17 Patricks Adelaide to Melbourne container freight with Pacific National locomotives NR73, XRB561 & NR69 (up, standard gauge) 3:27 V/line V/locity 5 carriages (down) 3:39 SCT Perth to Melbourne boxcar and container freight with locomotives SCT014, SCT002 & SCT006 (up, standard gauge) 4:49 V/line V/locity 3 carriages (up) 5:05 V/line N class with 4 carriages (down) 5:24 V/line N class with 5 carriages (down) 5:40 Pacific national Melbourne to Adelaide container freight with locomotives NR25 & NR28 - both locomotives have the Indian Pacific livery! (down, standard gauge) 6:30 POTA/QUBE Horsham to Melbourne container freight with locomotives 8030 & 8037 (up, standard gauge) 7:05 V/line Sprinter railcars with 3 carriages (down) When setting up the camera I made a decision to film from the shadow side of the trains as this offered the best view of the sunset. I think that decision paid off in this case :-) . PoathTV - Australian Trains, Railways & Railroads

A broad gauge grain train operated by "El Zorro" is seen in a typical Australian country landscape as the late afternoon sun begins to cast its long shadows. While the grain hoppers are quite modern the same can not be said for the locomotives that have been hired by El Zorro to help shift this seasons grain harvest. The five locomotives are all veterans from the former Victorian Railways, most dating back to the early/mid 1950's yet still going strong after all these years. On this occassion the locomotives are B74, S303 , T357, T320 and X31, all hired from the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre. . PoathTV - Australian Trains, Railways & Railroads
