In view of population and housing concerns, Canada is ready to toughen entrance requirements for temporary foreign workers in 2024. Marc Miller, Canada's Immigration Minister said, in 2024, Canada is planning to impose restrictions on the entry of temporary foreign workers. The system has been too lenient for too long. These changes, targeted at the wave of temporary foreign workers, will be revealed early in 2024. Miller drew attention to the link between foreign students and temporary foreign workers and thus Canada's housing problems. Its population has grown greatly--Q3 of this year alone saw 430,000 new residents. Immigration accounts for much of the increase. Miller has also suggested some rethinking of foreign students programs, and has been critical of certain educational institutions that affect immigration. Login Login 0 repins 0 comments 0 likes
