On July 3, Egypt's defense minister General Abdel Fatteh al-Sisi seized power from the country's elected president Mohammed Morsi. But Morsi's supporters in the Muslim Brotherhood weren't about to give up without a fight. Now that the Brotherhood's experiment with democracy seemed to have failed, some of Morsi's supporters began to turn to more radical action. All Egypt braced itself for the inevitable backlash.
