I spent around $8500 USD in 2 months: - $1800 for two weeks in South Africa (I did have free accomodation for one week but I also splurged on good meals and going out. Accommodation in Cape Town is expensive.) - $4200 for 42 days on an overland tour from Cape Town to Nairobi (Camping in tents for accomodation, tourist stuff in Africa is expensive!) -$2500 for flights, vaccination, and some camping equipment
