A little more than a mile from Little Rock, Arkansas, nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, is the famed Pinnacle Mountain State Park -- 2,000 acres of lush greenery punctured by Pinnacle Mountain. The mountain rises 1,000 feet above its surroundings. Two trails in particular are notable for their beauty: the more leisurely West Summit Trail and the steeper East Summit Trail.
