In its original state, the bedroom was covered with wall-to-wall carpet. To add a light, airy, graphic feeling to the room, basic hardwood floors were installed, sanded and then updated with a two-tone paint treatment using porch and deck paint and a high-gloss sealer. When choosing the proper blues, we stuck with those washed out heavily with white and gray to create a real wintry vibe.
