This colourful scene captures the view from the top of the Bingley Five Rise Locks, on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Originally constructed in 1774, the locks are known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Waterways, and have a total rise of 60 feet, with the tallest lock gates in Britain. A valuable part of Britain's industrial heritage, the locks are now a popular tourist destination, and a great place to enjoy whether you are aboard a narrow boat or on foot.
